left and right gods
Faith in man without faith in God is senseless
Hope in man is bleak
We the people choose left and right gods
Loud gods who are weak
Lament before you are compelled
A path of destruction lies before us
See our destiny before arrival
The imminent forlorn chorus
Examine all of your ways
Don’t complain when you’re punished
The writing’s been on the wall
Your sentence, long since published
Why do nations crumble and fall?
Let us turn back to our Creator
As a nation we get what we deserve
Don’t be revealed as a traitor
Are you a son of Heaven?
Or are you a son of Earth?
Will you die with your false gods
Or will you seek rebirth?
Put away your agenda
Put away your greed
Put away your selfish intents
Humility is what we need
How can you contribute?
How can you say you’ve tried
When the hole in you is empty
Or filled with lust and pride?
Forget the left and right gods
Forget economy and the rights of humanity
Before the Lord Almighty
You’re a speck and your dreams are all vanity
